Booking Terms & Conditions

It is a huge honour for us to be asked to help you celebrate your special occasion and we will always do our utmost to ensure we fulfil our obligations. However, it is important to understand that sometimes things don't go exactly as planned, therefore we put a written contract in place to ensure both parties know what is required to ensure your special day is a huge success, and in particular, to understand what will happen if things should go wrong. We've tried not to make our terms and conditions too complicated, we just need to make sure everyone knows what to expect. Although we've tried to keep it simple, this contract is a legal document.

If the event can be postponed then the existing contract will carry forward with the new event date. There will be no additional fees for a single postponement. If Crazy in Love is unavailable on the specified date(s) then both parties will be relinquished from financial and contractual obligations. All advance payments will be forfeited.

6. Postponement Policy

7. Change of Venue

7.1 If a request is made by the Client to change the venue then as long as the venue is within the 40 mile distance by road from DL13, or less than the original venue’s driving distance from DL13, access to the setup location is similar to the original venue and the venue has suitable space then the booking will be updated and no additional costs will be incurred.

7.2 If the new venue location is outside of the 40 mile driving distance and further away than the original venue location then additional travel expenses will be added to the booking.

8. Fair Weather Policy

8.1 We all know the British weather can be unpredictable but there is no reason why the weather should stop play. Our course is designed to stand a bit of rain so if rain is predicted, we are happy to set the course up as required. If an indoor space is available, the course can be set up inside.

8.2 If the weather is considered unsuitable for the use of the course in the designated outdoor area (for example: heavy rain, high winds, thunderstorms, snow and ice, flooding and lightning) then at our discretion, we reserve the right to not set up the course, or close and dismantle the course. This is primarily due to Health and Safety requirements, and Section 5. Unforeseeable Circumstances will apply.

8.3 Crazy in Love will not be held liable and it will be considered as a cancellation if the course can not be set up due to the ground conditions on the day of the event being unsuitable. In such cases, the event shall be treated as a Client-led cancellation, and no refund shall be issued for any payments made.

8.4 Where Crazy in Love has set up the course as agreed—either outdoors or indoors—and the course is fully functional and safe to use, but guests choose not to play due to weather conditions, or reasons outside our control, no refund or compensation shall be offered.

9. Health & Safety

9.1 Crazy in Love reserves the right to refuse admittance to the course or to remove a participant from the course should it be deemed necessary to do so. This includes a participant who does not comply with the course safety rules or who is deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

9.2 We shall be entitled to prevent any person from undertaking or completing the course if we deem the behaviour of any participant unsuitable.

9.3 Where the event may include guests under the age of 16 years, the client (or parent/guardian) is responsible for the behaviour and safety of any minors attending The Venue. The Client will provide and maintain adequate adult supervision for guests under the age of 16 years at all times, and we will not be liable for the supervision of minors. The course is not suitable for infants and toddlers under the age of 5 and therefore, for their own safety, they must not be allowed to play or be within the course area.

9.4 Unwarranted abuse or threatening behaviour from The Client’s guests, and/or The Venue staff will not be tolerated and will result in the activities being terminated with immediate effect with no loss to Crazy in Love.

9.5 Children always remain the responsibility of the adults who accompany them.

10. Insurance

10.1 Crazy in Love agrees to provide proof of Public Liability Insurance and all necessary certifications as required by The Venue.

11. Damage, Loss & Limitation of Liability

11.1 Crazy in Love accepts no liability for any damage or loss to the venue’s property or the Client’s personal possessions, or for any personal injury incurred while using the course. All guests participate at their own risk.

11.2 While minor cosmetic wear is expected during normal use of the course, the Client agrees that compensation for any loss of or damage to Crazy in Love’s equipment, vehicles or belongings caused by deliberate or negligent behaviour of guests, venue customers, or venue staff may be sought, including any associated costs.

11.3 Except in cases of personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Crazy in Love shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment, delays, or disruption. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with this booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client.

12. Marketing

12.1 From time to time we take pictures and videos during the event. By taking part in these activities, you are giving us your permission to use any pictures of yourself and anybody in your party for possible use in Crazy in Love promotion and marketing. For images of children, we will always seek additional verbal or written permission from a parent or legal guardian before using the images for promotional purposes. We will never sell these pictures and only use them exclusively for our own use. If you object to us using images of you or your party then please inform us in writing when making your booking.

13. Ground Requirements

13.1 Our ground requirements are an important factor for the success of our crazy golf course. It is your responsibility to ensure prior to making the booking, that the venue has a suitable area where the crazy golf course can be set up as detailed in section 13.2 below. Crazy in Love will not be held responsible for being unable to set up the course should the venue not have the required space or floor type.

13.2 The course requires a flat, level area with a minimum space of 10 metres by 10 metres (or equivalent). This may be configured flexibly depending on the shape of the space available, but a total footprint of 100 square metres is required for safe and effective setup.

13.3 If the venue does not provide sufficient space or the designated setup area prevents safe or practical installation of the course, Crazy in Love reserves the right to reduce the number of holes or, if necessary, not proceed with the setup. In such cases, the event shall be treated as a Client-led cancellation, and no refund shall be issued for any payments made.

14. Venue Requirements: Access, Setup / Dismantling times, and Catering Provision

14.1 Prices shown on the website and those quoted at time of booking are based on the venue being within a 40 mile driving distance of DL13. A sliding scale fuel & labour surcharge will be added to the booking fee to cover any additional travel outside of the 40 mile radius. These additional fees will be agreed with the client at the time of booking.

14.2 The Client will appreciate that suitable time before and after the event is required to set up and dismantle the course from the venue. Therefore, The Client and The Venue will allow 1 hour for the installation and 1hr for the dismantling and removal of the equipment.

14.3 Vehicle access: Our course will arrive at the venue in a transit van (or similar), The client is responsible for ensuring that access and suitable parking facilities are made available. Where The Venue does not have its own parking facilities, Crazy in Love reserves the right to pass on any additional parking fees for refund by The Client.

14.4 Late Arrival: Crazy in Love will not be held liable for late arrival at the venue due to unforeseen circumstances as indicated in section 5.

14.5 Crazy in Love will not be held liable and it will be considered as a cancellation if the venue does not permit us to set up the course for any reason whatsoever. In such cases, the event shall be treated as a Client-led cancellation, and no refund shall be issued for any payments made.

14.6 Catering Provision: As our standard hire involves our team being on-site for approximately 7 hours (including setting up and dismantling), we kindly request that a light meal and soft drink be provided for each team member. Whilst this is not contractually required, it is greatly appreciated, particularly at remote venues, or venues where access to food is limited. This helps ensure our team is able to remain on site throughout your event. Please advise in advance if Vendor meals are not available to allow suitable alternative arrangements to be made.

15. Privacy Policy

15.1 We will use the personal information you provide to us:

  • in accordance with our Privacy Policy

  • to supply the activities to your event

  • to process your payments

  • to communicate with you to arrange the event

16. Course Rules

We want everyone to have fun whilst enjoying a little bit of friendly rivalry so there aren't too many rules for playing the Crazy in Love Crazy Golf Course. So to ensure you and your guests have a fantastic time, we ask that the following rules be observed:

  • To avoid queues, there is a 10 shot limit per hole, so once you get to 10 shots, take it on the chin, and move on to the next hole.

  • If the ball goes off the course, take a one stroke penalty, and go back to the start.

  • If the ball ends up against an edge or obstacle it may be moved one club head width away with no penalty.

  • Each hole is designed to be played standing from the side. If you do need to stand on the hole, please ensure you do not stand on the side bars, and please do not stand on any obstacles.

  • Crazy in Love Crazy Golf is a game of putting so please refrain from hitting the ball excessively hard, thereby causing a hazard to yourself and other people.
